In addition to Phra Nang Beach‘s soft and expansive sand, there are numerous photo spots both on the beach itself and near the cliffs, which feature unique stalactites and stalagmites typical of the limestone mountains along Krabi’s Andaman coast. Railay beach is another location for Honeymoon photo shoot. The best time to take photos here is between 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm, as this is the only spot where you can see the sunset, offering the chance to capture photos with the golden light of the setting sun.
Koh Tub or Tup Island
Koh Tub is a small island with very fine, white sand and clear turquoise waters, offering a view of the coral reefs clearly. Many tour boats often stop here for tourists because there is a channel where boats can enter, located south of Phra Nang Beach, about 8 kilometers from the coastline. Koh Tub has sandbars that emerge during low tide, forming a pathway connecting Koh Tub and Chicken Island. It’s a beautiful spot for honeymoon photography. The best time for photography here is between 4 pm and 5 pm.
Poda Island
Poda Island is an excellent spot for those who love sunbathing and water activities. When photographing Chicken Island, it’s best to stay on a long-tail boat and capture the backdrop of the chicken-shaped rock formations. If you want to photograph the beach, it’s better to move to a viewpoint from Tub Island instead. The best time to capture photos here is in the morning around 8 am when the late morning light enhances the beauty of the sunlit side of the cliffs.
